The gauge-block stack height to set a precise angle on a sine bar or sine plate — and the reverse, the angle you get from a known stack. Stack height = bar length × sin(angle).
angle = arcsin(stack ÷ bar length). Roll length is the centre-to-centre distance of the two rolls. Sine bars lose accuracy above ~45° — use a sine plate or the complement for steep angles, and wring your blocks.
